Gored Matadors return with the 3rd and final addition to their long fabled ‘Darwin Trilogy’ “We Aint Dead Yet. Now down and out, surveying the ashes and wreckage around them, our narrator takes stock of their life and spins yarns about finding yourself in a bad town on the wrong side of the tracks with no place left to turn. How will they cope? What will they do? Will they survive? Come take a trip to the dark-side and see how hard this town kicks when you’re down.

Gored Matadors third EP marks their first release as a 5 piece with the additions of Mats ‘MadDog’ Unden on Rhodes, and B3 keys and Mel ‘3-awesome bands’ Reid on sax and flute. These new additions expand both the sonic pallet and minds making this the richest and most diverse sounding Matadors release yet.
 
Release date is Saturday 27th November and to celebrate we’re having a party at Happy Yess that evening. The Matadors will be joined by their good friend Jodie Kell on trumpet for the evening and throughout this rainy season creating Darwin’s greatest all female brass section ever!!! Local Darwin legends Horse Trank will be providing support. Get in early to avoid disappointment as this one is bound to sell out fast.
